How does the EAP support People Departments?

We are a partner to HR and managers

Together we set the implementation strategy and then monitor data on EAP use, respond to needs, trends, warning signs. We support HR and managers in managing difficult people management situations and taking care of themselves - according to the idea of ‘help the helper’ . We use knowledge from EAP submissions and collaborations to prepare activities dedicated to HR and managers. We carry out educational activities as part of the HR Insights initiative.

Education program and HR calendar

HR Support

HR calendar and education program

Our educational program is unique because we create it in response to real needs - we analyze what problems are reported on the EAP Line, we talk to HR Departments about the needs of companies, we use the knowledge and experience of our group of experts and trainers. We focus on practical knowledge that brings individual development and allows us to build a more favorable work environment. As part of our educational program, we prepare about 120 live webinars annually, 30 expert materials, courses and podcasts that respond to the needs of employees reported to us on our support hotline and by organizations. We prepare employee newsletters, implementation materials and a calendar of activities to strengthen the company's wellbeing strategy, relieving HR of their workload. We assist in building a healthy, effective company culture in which concern for employees' mental health makes good economic sense.

Testimonials

Participants about the webinars:

Taming Otherness. LGBTQIA2S+

Expert Marta Kaminska
“Extremely interesting topic, still - as it was evident from the participants' reactions - needed, crawling and in a way controversial. All the more great applause for the presenter for taking up and presenting it in such a wise and profound way - you could see and hear the consistency of the presented topic with the views of the presenter. This is very much to the plus :) From the bottom of my heart and convictions - that was my impression. Thank you :)”

HR support

We support HR and organizations in the most difficult situations

Emergency situation

A fatal on-the-job accident occurred at the factory. The employer asked for support from the family in coping with the loss, from the shift supervisor in struggling with guilt (objectively wrong, as the inspection showed), and from the team in going through grief and managing the anxiety of returning to the workplace.

Actions taken

Conversations with the manager, HR and Lyra experts, coordinated by the Client Supervisor, development of a support plan. Provided psychological support to the family. Organized individual sessions with the manager and group sessions with the team led by a specialist. Introduced education on the consequences of trauma and “survivor syndrome.”

Short-term effects

Creating a safe space for company conversations and facilitating communication.Rapid support in processing emotions, providing knowledge and techniques for coping with the situation. Reducing the family's sense of isolation and loneliness. Increased sense of security within the team.

Long-term impact

Early intervention allowed the shift leader and the team to avoid developing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Working through the crisis together in a constructive way has unified the team. Confidence in the employer increased, as employees saw that neither they nor the family were left alone during a difficult time.
