How does EAP work
Psychologist in 15 seconds and in-office sessions
- Only one in five needy people in Poland use psychological assistance (EZOP II, 2018-2019)
- Only 24% of employees don't hit obstacles to using benefits (Remote's Global benefits report 2023)
- That's why our psychologists can be contacted in 15 seconds, 24/7, without making appointments, switching or nuisance “calls” to payphones. When life gets tough, reaching out for help is supposed to be easy.
Psychological services are now often provided online, which is convenient and saves time. However, many EAP providers only offer this work option, and it doesn't always work. We give employees a choice between online and in-office sessions.
In-office sessions are available in 160 cities in Poland. By entering into a new contract, we ensure their availability in the company's main locations. We are one of the few in the market to offer on-call specialists on site, at company locations

Confidentiality without compromise
All reports are made anonymously and life-threatening procedures are strictly described. The information on EAP use that we share with employers is aggregate, statistical in nature and never describes reporters in a way that identifies them. We comply with the law (RODO), Lyra's ethical standards and the industry, and only use trusted technology.
The procedure for immediate threats to the life or health of the contactee or others (“red flag” procedure) is a strictly described policy for dealing with situations such as suicidal intent, violence, acts of terror. It defines the exceptions when we deviate from the principles of anonymity and confidentiality in order to contact the relevant institutions and services, and provide assistance.
We maintain impartiality in providing consultations - our experts are guided by scientific knowledge and empathy, not personal views, and are subject to constant supervision. We exclude ourselves from consulting in situations of conflict of interest involving the company. At the employer's request, we can exclude certain areas from our services, such as labor law.

More than 250 specialists
In a dynamic and changing world, there is no single effective method for overcoming difficulties and preparing for change. Therefore, for us, support consists of flexible, multidirectional action that takes into account the current needs of individuals and teams, the challenges of the modern labor market, as well as the social and economic environment in which the company operates. We offer the support of specialists such as a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, addiction specialist, child and adolescent psychologist, family therapist, couples therapist, psychodietician, psycho-oncologist, speech therapist, business psychologist, coach, lawyer, financial specialist.
Each of these people goes through a careful recruitment process so that we can take responsibility for the high quality of their work. An employee reporting a problem does not search alone among dozens of profiles - we select the most suitable expert for each case.

Educational and webinar program
Educational program
Our educational program is unique because we create it in response to real needs - we analyze what problems are reported on the EAP Line, we talk to HR Departments about the needs of companies, we use the knowledge and experience of our group of experts and trainers. We focus on practical knowledge that brings individual development and allows us to build a more favorable work environment.
Expert articles
Articles are written by our experts, knowledgeable people who work with people on a daily basis, not GPT chat - we adopt the assumption “if someone didn't want to write it, why would you want to read it?”.
Wellbinars
Our webinar program is about 120 live webinars per year with the opportunity to interact and ask questions. In Polish and English. Recordings are available in the Client Zone. We also offer 4-week courses. We cover topics such as taking care of yourself, living a better life, psychology, competence development, law, financial well-being and organize webinars tailored to the needs of companies.
Podcasts
And to listen to on the way to work or a break, we offer podcasts created by experienced journalists.
How does EAP work
Company relations
EAP is an effective tool, but it won't do its job if employees don't use it. That's why part of what we offer is active participation in integrating the program into the organizational culture. We do not assume that “somehow it will be done,” because we know that the quality of cooperation determines the success of the program. We focus on long-term relationships with employers.
Dedicated Account Manager
The relationship with the company is coordinated by a Caregiver - a person who best knows its needs and challenges. The Guardian oversees implementation, monitors data, collaborates in crisis situations and prepares additional plans and offers.
Program usage reports
We regularly prepare analyses of service usage, including but not limited to: number and anonymized categories of individual requests, number of webinar participants and most popular topics, usage rates to compare companies to market averages.
