How EAP benefits companies

Increase in efficiency

By obtaining EAP support, the number of “unproductive” employee hours per week is reduced from 9.22 to 2.70 (Hargrave et al., 2008).

Thus, if in a company with 500 employees, 12% of employees benefit from the program, on a monthly basis the company will gain

1,565 hours of effective work.

In those who have benefited from the support, concentration, energy, quality and quantity of work increase, relationships, attendance and punctuality improve.

Employer Branding

Employees want to work in companies for which their mental health is important. 90% see the need for employers to introduce a mental health program (“Understand. Feel. Act!”, 2021). EAP builds employer branding - the image of a company as an attractive employer - externally and internally. It can help attract talent and increase job satisfaction.

Support in crisis

Response to individual, team, mass crises

Helping people get through a crisis is one of EAP's fundamental tasks. Our structures are ready to respond to crises of different scales, as we have proven by successfully supporting clients in crises:

  • individual - breakup, death of a loved one, loss of work, experience of violence, severe stress
  • team - group layoffs, restructuring, mergers, employee suicide, conflicts, loss of trust, mobbing, discrimination, burnout, departures, quiet quitting
  • massive - flooding, Covid pandemic, war in Ukraine, earthquake in Turkey, introduction of the Polish Order, inflation

Importantly, the occurrence of a crisis and an increase in support needs does not require changes to the contract and does not involve an increase in price.

Building an ESG strategy

The Employee Support Program plays a role in building the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy, especially in the “S” area - Social. In particular, it helps manage risk and increase organizational resilience, builds the company's culture and supports its DEIB (Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, Belonging) aspects. The Employee Support Program supports safety and high labor standards and creates long-term value by influencing engagement and performance.
