Overcoming the crisis - emergency support

Helping people get through the crisis is one of the fundamental tasks of the EAP. The last few days have brought Poland the dramatic events of the floods, which affected many people, their homes and their workplaces. At such moments, it is natural that strong emotions arise in us - stress, anxiety, a sense of loss of control over our own lives. Even if we have not experienced the direct effects of the floods ourselves, the fear for the future, loved ones and safety can be overwhelming. We understand that each person is experiencing the crisis in their own way, and we want to reassure you that you do not have to go through these difficulties alone.

We express our deep solidarity with those who are struggling with material and emotional loss and a sense of powerlessness. We also join with those living in uncertainty, experiencing fear of the events ahead.

Dedicated webinar

Big water, big anxiety - how to deal with the anxiety that floods us

You are invited to a special event organised in response to the flood situation. We will talk about the fact that feelings of anxiety, despair and helplessness are natural reactions to crisis situations. Psychotraumatologist Agata Fryś will talk about how to recognise them and how they affect our body and behaviour. We will examine whether we can ensure that such strong emotions do not dominate us, and we will give hints on how to regain the strength needed to face the challenges brought by a natural disaster. During the meeting, we will look together for effective methods of coping with tension that can help in the most difficult moments.

The webinar on LinkedIN Live could be viewed on 19 SEPTEMBER, at12:30 p.m., and by logging in to the Lyra Polska Client Zone
